The next generation of Google's Android, nicknamed "Honeycomb nest", is promising to revolutionize the functionality of larger display devices, in particular, s of Tablet PC. This latest version will also incorporate applications developed by Google for the mobile world. These include Google Maps 5 with 3D interactions and offline reliability offer. Honeycomb will allow access to more than 3 million Google eBooks as well. The version of Apple "Face Time", Google Talk, Google also will be available with honeycomb. This feature will allow video and voice chat between any 2 enabled devices for Google Talk, including PC and Tablet PCs. shortcuts on the homescreen will make it helps users find contacts to make video calls.
Honeycomb also will support backward for all applications developed for previous versions. Previous Android platforms coming out of "Dessert cooking" Google have included Android 1.5 (Cupcake), Android 1.6 (Donut), Android 2.0/2.1 (Eclair), Android 2.2 (short for frozen yogurt Froyo!) and Android 2.3 (ginger bread). An even more recent version (ice cream sandwich) is expected in the summer of 2011.
