Who Has The Best Android Phone

Android is the most popular operating system for mobile phones nowadays and there are lots of new device releases each month. With Android covering more than 30% of the market shares, it is clear that Google's OS runs on the best smartphones out there. Although in fierce competition with the iPhone, the manufacturers working with Android phone do a fantastic job and even if it is difficult to name the best Android device, it is clear some of them stand out. Google Nexus S 4 G, HTC Inspire 4 G, Samsung Galaxy S2, Motorola Atrix and HTC Sensation are definitely the best Android devices out there.

In my opinion the best out of these five Samsung Galaxy S2 is a great smartphone succeeding Samsung Galaxy S, being powered up by a 1.2 GHz dual - core SoC processor and 1 GB of RAM. The device was announced at the Mobile World Congress in February 2011 and is currently the second thinnest Dual-Core smartphone on the market, after the NEC socks N-04C, which is only available in Japan. We can actually say that Samsung Galaxy S2 is the popular thinnest Dual-Core smartphone in the world, because it is not likely to hear about the NEC socks if you do not live in Japan or work in the field of IT & C.

The phone has a huge 4.3 inch WVGA Super AMOLED plus display and features an 8 MP camera with flash. The camera can record videos in Full HD 1080p, a feature not many smartphones can brag about right now. This phone is also one of the first devices ever with Mobile High-Definition Link (MHL), which allows the smartphone up to 1080p uncompressed video output with HDMI, while the device is up for charging.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 is also one of the newest releases on the market, with release dates around July 2011 in Canada, the U.S. and Pakistan. The phone was pre-ordered by around 3 million persons, which is quite an impressive number. The audio hardware of the phone is manufactured by Yamaha, while the one on the original Galaxy S was manufactured by Wolfson. It is said the previous model of audio hardware was better than the one manufactured by Yamaha, but the difference can't be that big. The phone runs on the Android and an official update to Android 2.3.4 2.3.3 Gingerbread is announced. An unofficial version is already available, but I do not encourage you to use it.

The Samsung TouchWiz 4.0 user interface is featured on this model of Samsung and follows the same principles as TouchWiz 3.0. However, the new version adds new improvements. Zooming in and out of to webpages happens in a different way now, with the user only needing to press on the screen with two fingers and move the device back and forth in a cradle-like movement. The way widgets are displayed is also different in the new Galaxy S2, but TouchWiz 4.0 comes with many other interesting and useful features.

Even if it is difficult to name the best Android phone, because everything is subjective, I think the Samsung Galaxy S2 gets close to being one of the best during its period and will probably stick on to the first place until HTC or Samsung develop another fantastic device which offers a better experience to the user. Do But with the tech world moving fast, will there be astonishing more than few months until we will see a new leader?
