IDC analysts have predicted that powered Android phones will demand the position of runner-up in the market, behind Symbian, in 2013. IDC Worldwide Mobile OS 2009-2013 forecast and analysis suggests that Android sales could reach up to 68 million worldwide.
With only 689.000 Android units sold in 2008, quite a steep increase in popularity of software Android - a rate of annual growth of 150.4% to be exact!
