So if you're a HTC, Samsung, Sony, Motorola, LG, Huawei, you want to add your own flavor to Google Android. That comes in the form of a user interface such as sense and Touchwiz, to name a few. Manufacturers put these UI on top of Android, and this gives them a level of distinction in a market that is frequented by Android devices. Personally, I like this and I think it is a solid marketing tool. Many of you chose your phone because you like the look? Some of you I bet. This. Really lets you make it only a couple of dollars. Would you pay a couple of bucks to use other user interface?
Some geeks, I included you can achieve this through a root device. But for the majority of Android users, this could be a welcome solution to change your look. Also granted you can use themes in ADW launcher and Launcher Pro, but I'm talking about a complete experience interface user. Imagine picking up the Galaxy S2 and wondering what would be HTC Sense in him. Jump to game Google and type in "HTC Sense". Then download the official HTC Sense launcher and away you go. The phone feels like a new phone from the moment that starts.
Would you pay for this privilege? I think that it would. It is also another sales channel for manufacturers. HTC and Samsung might be able to sell the use of its user interface for a couple of dollars. This may add! Channels of additional sales for manufacturers is necessary. Not necessarily for Samsung which are at the top of the world at the moment. But for the likes of HTC that could use a boost, this can be invaluable.
I am sure that a lot of development should be carried out to make this a reality, but I think it is worth merit. Perhaps we will see that a new category on Google called launchers home or User Interfaces play. No doubt there are many people who would like to "pure" Google experience. Well you're lucky if you're phone already has a version of the manufacturers of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. You can go to the Google store to play and download launchers apex or Nova, giving you what I call pure experience.
