Android is fast becoming an alternative to the Blackberry for corporate users. The devices are suitable for communication and organization with a lot of great applications. The majority of the first Android phones has been discrete and lacking any embarrassing physical as a pink case or stars and moons characteristics. (Although the new T-Mobile myTouch includes both as an option).

But anyway, the point is that this is a working phone! Don't let that icon of YouTube to mislead anyone... ahem. There's even rumors of possible Exchange support in an upcoming version of Android that would be fantastic and let Android compete with Windows Mobile with Outlook integration. One thing is however, necessary if you want to use your smartphone as a phone for work. (Games!) (I mean wait...) A viewer for Office documents!

OfficeSuite viewer of mobile systems (Android) opens all files in most common documents including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PDF files even. Support not only old style files (.)DOC.XLS.(PPT), even opens the new Office 2007 formats (.)DOCX.XLSX.(PPTX). Some of my colleagues have problems to open even on desktop and open easily on my G1.

Each document is easily displaceable by touch as usual in Android apps. You can extract the latest numbers that TPS report while sitting in Starbucks or pull the presentation giving you a talk sobre after his lunch. Actually, the sky is the limit on the number of locations new and innovative that can now work.

Phones with this operating system can be used for Android applications that make work and life easier. If you want to have fun there are a few great games Android , so it can be found at Handango.com.
